What you eat after exercising can significantly impact on your health. Generally speaking everyone eats at least one meal within 2 hours after exercising. It is extremely important to eat a high-energy meal that is devoid of sugar.
Consuming sugar within this post-exercise window, will negatively affect both your insulin sensitivity and your human growth hormone (HGH) production. This sugar can easily be disguised in our energy drinks, recovery drinks; and the main culprits are the so called high protein/low carbohydrate bars we consume after exercising.
Stop Eating C.R.A.P. - The American Diet Is Filled With It The American diet is full of C.R.A.P. (Caffeinated, Refined, Artificial, and Processed) Foods. We need to be more mindful of what we put into our bodies. We also need to be mindful of the internal pollution we put into our minds. The mind-Body connection tells us that all thoughts produce neurological and immunologic (Bio-Chemical) Changes. Begin to eat for your health; Eat for your metabolic type, be present with each mouthful, chew food to liquid and change your thoughts to practice positivity while eating.
We all know that foods have healing properties and very therapeutic effects. If you want healthy skin, it is important for you to have a healthy diet- a diet, which contains adequate amount of vitamins, minerals and proteins. Balance is the key word. No single diet is responsible for building up or maintaining the skin- so fad diets, which over-emphasize one food in preference to others can actually deprive you of essential nutrients and so may even harm your body and skin.
